Job summary

Cole Elementary School in Cheyenne, Wyoming is seeking a Paraeducator to support instructional programs for Pre-K Title I during the 2026/2027 contract year. Under teacher supervision, you reinforce curriculum with individuals or small groups, monitor behavior, and assist with clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a certified teacher, assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts, adapt activities, and support lesson plans.
• Monitor and supervise students in classrooms, playgrounds, field trips, library, lunchroom, and buses to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Assist in organizing classroom materials, copies, and supplies to support daily activities and mandated requirements.
• Confer with teachers to review student progress, provide feedback, and maintain records.
• Assist other personnel and school staff with clerical tasks and basic duties as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and direct to appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
