Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Complete the General Paraeducator Certificate within required timeframe.
• WA state requirements include 28 hours of district training and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and/or behavioral instruction and support for students in general education.
• Use varied activities to advance language, literacy, math, creativity, and social development.
• Facilitate onboarding for families and connect them with services.
• Monitor student progress and collaboration with staff to support home-school learning.
• Attend meetings and maintain reliable attendance.
