Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is seeking a Panelboard Assembler for 1st/2nd shift to assemble switchboards and panelboards according to drawings and BOMs. You'll use hand and power tools, follow established procedures and work with team members to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, identifying nonconforming items, documenting progress, and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret front views, one line diagrams, bills of materials and pick sheets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using hand and power tools according to drawings/blueprints.
• Follow procedures for quality, safety and productivity and communicate any gaps or shortages.
• Identify nonconforming parts and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality standards are met.
• Cross-train and support other roles as needed.
