Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a SWBD - Production Associate (Chassis) for the Sumter, SC facility. The role involves assembling switchboards/panelboards on a 5:00 am – 1:30 pm shift, using hand and power tools, and following drawings/diagrams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will work with a team on various switchboard areas, contribute to process improvements, and ensure accurate component installation while adhering to lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates within 50 miles of Sumter facility will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using hand and power tools.
• Use drawings/diagrams/blueprints to manufacture custom-ordered switchboards.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity goals in the role.
• Cross-train and stand in for other employees when necessary.
