Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Senior Production Associate – Complete Assembly in Panelboard Assembly for Sumter, SC. The role focuses on assembling and inspecting panelboard components to ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining Eaton's quality standards.

The position requires at least 1 year in manufacturing/assembly, Lean familiarity, and crane operator certification. On-site work with competitive hourly pay and a potential incentive program is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or operations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of assembly experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• No relocation benefits offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that products meet Eaton's quality guidelines and perform quality checks as instructed.
• Receive and carry out work assignments to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
• Follow safety and 5S standards; use personal protective equipment as required.
• Keep the work area clean and organized per 5S.
• Coordinate between steel shop, materials, trim fabrication and Panelboard assembly to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Apply Lean initiatives to improve quality, work processes and safety.
• Read and install components per drawings, diagrams and kanban cards.
• Communicate across teams to understand customer needs and product requirements.
