Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembling panelboards and switchboards from electrical drawings and instructions. You will wire components, perform tests, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires basic experience with hand and power tools, the ability to lift, and adherence to Lean and 5S practices. On-site work with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Must have at least one year in an assembly-related role or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
Experience with hand and/or power tools as part of assembly work.
Knowledge of reading and following manufacturing drawings/schematics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble panelboards and switchboards per electrical drawings and work instructions.
Wire and test finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
Inspect and test assemblies and maintain equipment and tools per 5S guidelines.
Perform Lean activities and suggest improvements to processes and safety.
