Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, seeks a compassionate Palliative Care RN to support patients and families facing serious illness. You will collaborate with an expert team and provide holistic, patient-centered care Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

This role emphasizes symptom management, advance care planning, education, and seamless care coordination across primary, specialty, hospice, and home health.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; compact license transfers within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited program; education verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and serve as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, resources.
• Assess symptoms and support symptom management plans with providers.
• Triage calls, questions, and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the healthcare journey.
