Intermountain Health is seeking a compassionate Palliative Care RN to join our team in Billings, Montana. You will coordinate care for patients and families, provide education, and support symptom management across the care continuum in a day-time schedule.

The role emphasizes whole-person care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and strong documentation and care coordination skills. This position offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with a robust benefits package and opportunities

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact license holders must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited program; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and serve as a navigator for palliative care patients and their families.
• Provide education to patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate with providers to support symptom management plans.
• Triage patient and family calls, questions, and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient’s healthcare journey.
