• Conducts thorough medical histories and physical examinations; initiates appropriate tests and develops a working diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Performs and interprets routine diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribes and monitors medications as allowed by license and policy.
• Educates patients on disease, treatments, and potential side effects; answers questions.
