Job summary

CLA is seeking a lead engineer to drive Palantir Foundry initiatives, architect complex solutions, and mentor the engineering team in Milwaukee. The role focuses on scalable design, secure implementation, and cross-team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have extensive enterprise experience, Palantir Foundry familiarity, and a Bachelor's degree. Some travel (<10%) is required as projects span clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience required; 8 years preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise applications, workflows, integrations, or platform-based solutions.
• Experience providing technical direction for complex application engineering efforts.
• Experience reviewing technical designs, mentoring engineers, and improving engineering practices.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry preferred.
• Agentic development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Travel: This position requires <10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for Palantir applications, workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Define implementation approaches, guide architecture decisions, and ensure secure, reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Guide Foundry usage: Workshop, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Functions, Actions, code repos, security, lineage, and deployment patterns.
• Review complex designs and code, identify risks, and ensure long-term support and operations readiness.
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and promote consistent engineering practices.
• Identify dependencies and cross-team impacts; align with product owners and architects.
• Serve as technical escalation point for production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Communicate options, risks, and tradeoffs to business users, technology teams, and leadership.
