Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Industrial Paint Supervisor to lead a production team on the floor while also working on the line. You will align daily tasks with the master schedule, interpret specifications, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to work 40 to 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of production workers and work on the production line.
• Coordinate daily activities of various production departments.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers.
• Plan and organize work to meet the schedule.
• Maintain production workflow between workers and departments.
• Monitor production for quality and make adjustments as necessary.

• Motivate team members to complete assignments on time.
• Train new production employees.
• Inspect production equipment for good working order.

The position is as a working supervisor, so besides supervising a team of production workers, the supervisor also works on the production line.
