Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
• Minimum four years on a manufacturing shop floor.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to measure and perform shop calculations per specs.
• Experience leading and motivating weld staff to meet schedules.
• Welding knowledge of steel and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of MIG welders and fabricators and delegate tasks.
• Train and motivate staff to meet demanding manufacturing requirements and schedules.
• Assist with tasks to complete assignments as needed.
• Test products and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Work in a safe manner and communicate changes to processes.

Due to our company growth we have immediate openings for Weld Leads.Responsibilities:Coordinate daily activities of MIG Welders/fabricators and delegating job responsibilities to appropriate employeesTrain and motivate staff to meet demanding manufacturing requirements and schedulesAssist with tasks as necessary to complete assignmentsTest products/equipment for defects/malfunctionsWork in a safe mannerCommunicate changes and updates to employees on processes and proceduresQualifications:Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) CertificationPrevious experience in a manufacturing facility on the shop floor for minimum of four (4) yearsAbility to measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in compliance with engineer or sales specificationsPrevious experience working with and reading blueprintsAbility to troubleshoot and problem solve a variety of situations on the shop floorPrevious experience working with steel a plusPrevious experience leading shop floor employees and motivating them to complete jobs in a timely manner and accurately to specificationsMust be detail oriented to meet the needs of our customers
