Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an Industrial Paint Supervisor for the 2nd shift, onsite in Milwaukee, WI. The role leads painting operations and collaborates with the Production Manager to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and at least 2 years of supervisory work, with Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Welding experience is a plus, with emphasis on safety and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred, but not required.
• Welding experience helpful, but not required.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Production Manager to meet production goals.
• Coordinate daily activities of production departments and delegate tasks.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders for workers.
• Plan and organize work to meet schedule and maintain workflow.
• Monitor production quality and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot problems and drive timely resolutions.
• Motivate and train team members for performance.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and promote safety.
