Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in South Chesterfield, Virginia, is seeking a Production Supervisor for Paint, 1st shift, to lead team leads and hourly production staff, ensuring targets are met safely, on time, and to established quality standards. You will develop daily standard work, drive continuous improvement, manage inventory, and coordinate with supply chain, quality, and shipping to meet customer expectations.

Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leads and hourly production staff; ensure a safe work environment, set expectations, coach and train associates, and drive accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work; maintain production schedule to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Coordinate with supply chain, quality, shipping and other departments to meet targets safely and on time.
• Capture and analyze data to identify productivity drivers and address issues impacting cycle time and customer expectations.
