Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Supervisor Production for the 1st shift at South Chesterfield, VA, onsite. You will lead team leads and hourly production staff, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement.

You will maintain production schedules, coordinate with supply chain and quality, manage inventory, and ensure accurate timekeeping in ADP while enforcing company policies. This role requires strong communication and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma or 5S experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leads and hourly production staff; ensure a safe work environment and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work; drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain production schedule and inventory procedures; partner with supply chain.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues and uphold quality standards.
• Capture and analyze data; maintain accurate timekeeping in ADP; enforce policies.
