Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a delivery driver who will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to assess needs and recommend solutions.

You will deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using company vans or pickup trucks, maintaining vehicle readiness and safety while supporting sales goals. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate transactions, and timely deliveries, with opportunities to assist customers over the phone and in person.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a “meets expectations” rating and completed HR Cloud eLearning courses

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisor to repair and servicing needs
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules while complying with laws and safety procedures
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Operate equipment and machines such as cars, trucks, forklifts
