Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our retail stores.

You will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine needs, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and sales goals are met. Responsibilities include handling transactions, stocking displays, tinting and mixing products, and assisting in deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
