Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to work at our retail location. You will interact with wholesale and retail customers, determine their needs, and recommend the right paint solutions, while keeping product knowledge up to date and maintaining store quality.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, meeting monthly and annual sales goals, stocking displays, tinting and mixing products, and assisting with deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a meets expectations rating.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and follow policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest improvements.
