Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll serve as the go-to expert for retail and contractor customers, assisting with product selection, color matching, and order processing across multiple channels, while keeping the store organized and safe.

Responsibilities include helping customers, tinting and matching paint, handling orders via phone, in person, online, and email, and supporting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license issued by the state with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers and make product recommendations.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to meet customer specifications.
• Learn about PPC Brands, and how to help in a store.
• Process orders and payments via phone, in person, online, and email.
• Tinting and color matching customer requirements.
• Safely handle, load, and unload products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Support general store operations as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
