Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program offering hands-on experience in our retail stores, designed to provide you with exposure to management, sales, and store operations as well as meaningful customer experiences.

Your internship will include hands-on experience in B2B and retail settings, learning how to support customers, maintain displays, and collaborate with a management team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers by recommending items that meet their needs.
• Develop strong product knowledge to answer customer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves, support inventory management, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms to ensure efficient inventory flow.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to store policies including safety and loss prevention.
