Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers a paid Management & Sales Internship for a 10-12-week summer program in our Petaluma, CA retail stores. Interns gain hands-on experience in management, sales, store operations, and customer experiences, including B2B and retail activity within a paint store.

Interns travel with a Sales Representative to gain outside sales exposure and complete a team-based project with leadership support.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly in-store and phone customer service.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers.
• Develop strong product knowledge to answer inquiries.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms.
• Participate in required training and adhere to store policies.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project.
