Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers a paid Management & Sales Internship (10-12 weeks) in Sunnyvale, CA. Interns gain hands-on experience in retail store operations, including customer service, sales support, merchandising, and logistics, with exposure to management and outside sales.

A team-based project and leadership supervision are provided throughout the program. Interns travel with a Sales Representative for hands-on field experiences and may participate in a pathway toward the Management

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers by recommending items that meet their needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of store merchandise to answer customer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management; contribute to visual merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and general store maintenance.
• Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms to ensure efficient inventory flow.
• Participate in required training sessions and adhere to store policies including safety and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve customer concerns and complete shared tasks.
• Collaborate on a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge or store initiative.
