Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) invites applications for a Construction / Maintenance Planning Intern role in Phoenix, AZ. This paid, temporary 10-week summer internship provides hands-on experience with project planning and coordination to keep APS facilities operating safely and reliably.

You'll work with experienced planners, gain exposure to real-world construction activities, and develop work plans, documentation, and scheduling progress.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Strong commitment to academic achievement and ongoing learning.
• Interest in construction, maintenance planning, project coordination, or utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of construction and maintenance projects.
• Assist in developing work plans and project documentation.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources for safe, effective work.
• Track project scheduling and progress; assist with closeout activities.
