Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company seeks engineering- enrolled students for a paid Palo Verde Summer Internship lasting 10 weeks, May to July. Interns will gain real-world experience through projects, mentorship, and exposure to senior leaders, with housing provided for in-person participation.

Qualified candidates are ABET accredited engineering students, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related fields, with a minimum GPA and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET accredited college or university undergraduate program in engineering or related applied science.
• Demonstrates ongoing achievement in studies and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with simple to intermediate analysis and design tasks.
• Support research, documentation, and technical reviews; prepare written/oral summaries.
• Learn internal processes and apply knowledge to project tasks.
• Coordinate with other disciplines/departments to achieve project goals.
