Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company (APS) is recruiting for the Palo Verde Summer internship, a paid 10-week program starting in May and ending in July. Interns will work on real projects, receive mentorship, and participate in orientation, professional development, and plant tours to learn about the energy industry.

Qualified students are ABET accredited engineers, enrolled in an undergraduate program, with a minimum GPA of 3.2.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET accredited engineering undergrad program.
• GPA at least 3.2.
• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering major preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple to intermediate analysis and designs for projects.
• Assist in research, documentation, and technical reviews.
• Learn operations and apply learning to assignments.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to reach goals.
• Perform other related duties as required.
