Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking ABET-accredited engineering students for the Palo Verde Summer Internship. This paid, 10-week program runs May through July and includes meaningful individual and group projects with support from leaders and mentors.

Housing is provided for in-person interns, and interns can participate in new hire orientation, professional development, and site tours to learn about Palo Verde and APS. There are multiple internship positions posted on the APS careers site.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Actively enrolled in an ABET accredited college/university undergraduate Civil Engineering program.
• Knowledge and ability to apply basic engineering principles and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple to intermediate analysis and designs.
• Assist in researching, documenting, and presenting findings.
• Learn business/engineering operations through hands-on assignments.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to achieve project goals.
