Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking ABET-accredited engineering students for the Palo Verde Summer internship. This paid 10-week program offers real-world exposure across engineering/business disciplines, with leaders to guide you through meaningful individual and group projects.

Interns will receive housing if the internship is in person, participate in orientation and professional development, and tour facilities to learn about Palo Verde and APS.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in ABET accredited engineering program.
• GPA minimum 3.2 required.
• Pursuing Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs; assist in plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, evaluations and studies.
• Assist in research, documentation, and technical reviews; summarize results in reports or presentations.
• Learn operations/functions through internal resources and apply learning to work assignments.
• Coordinate with other disciplines/departments to achieve project goals and tasks.
• Perform other related duties as required.
