Job summary

Excellus BCBS is offering a paid 10-week Summer College Internship Program in the United States. Interns will participate in development workshops, be mentored by managers, and work on meaningful projects across multiple tracks within business and IT disciplines.

The program runs from June to August, with up to 40 hours per week. Interns may work in technical or non-technical roles, and housing is not provided. Remote work opportunities may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with continuous college enrollment in a full-time program.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in healthcare, benefits, or sales and prior customer service or internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Representatives with materials for broker and employer meetings.
• Research prospective employer groups within target markets.
• Track sales opportunities and maintain CRM data accuracy.
• Prepare enrollment, renewal, and sales reports.
• Monitor renewals and assist with renewal activity.
