Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students, with paid hours from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August (up to 40 hours/week). Interns participate in development workshops, mentor with managers, and work on meaningful projects across tracks like Business, IT, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and more.

Housing is not provided; remote work opportunity may be available.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student status required to participate in the internship.
• Interest in business, healthcare or analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Representatives with preparing materials for broker and employer meetings.
• Research prospective employer groups within target markets.
• Support the team by tracking sales opportunities and maintaining data accuracy within CRM systems.
• Prepare enrollment, renewal, and sales reports.
• Monitor upcoming renewals and assist with organizing renewal activity.
• Help maintain broker contact information and distribution lists.
• Assist with creating broker communication materials and presentations.
