Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduates and graduates, with mentors and development workshops across diverse tracks. Interns work on meaningful projects, gaining exposure to business concepts and real-world experience.

The program runs from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, up to 40 hours per week. Housing is not provided, and remote work may be considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment and full-time status.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to interact across levels.
• Willingness to read legal materials and work independently when needed.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality output.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and professional desktop use.

Responsibilities

• Research and read client agreements/contracts to create a contract inventory report.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy per policy.
• Attend development workshops and participate in assigned tasks.
