Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by managers, and participate in development workshops across multiple tracks, including IT, analytics, and business roles.

The program runs June through August, with up to 40 hours per week. Housing is not provided, and interns may work in technical or non-technical areas. Remote work may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to interact with diverse audiences
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality work
• Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams

Responsibilities

• Assist with the laptop refresh project in Syracuse Desktop Lab
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects
• Prepare and present final internship deliverables
• Schedule and coordinate with end users for equipment pickup and data transfer
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company values and code of conduct
