Job summary

TW Constructors is offering a paid internship in St. Louis, MO, for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

You will shadow project engineers, project managers, estimators, and safety professionals, participating in site visits, hands-on work, and safety training as part of a team responsible for projects from concept to closeout. You will gain exposure to scheduling, budgeting, change orders, RFIs, and cost management while contributing to preconstruction planning and quality

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
• Foundational understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a flexible, collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work is a plus.
• Committed to upholding a Safety-First culture.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of navigating active construction sites, including walking, climbing ladders, and accessing multi-floor scaffolding.
• Travel to projects nationwide may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop and maintain project schedules
• Support the creation of accurate project forecasts and budgets
• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities
