Job summary

Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, up to 40 hours per week. Interns are mentored, attend development workshops, and work on meaningful projects across several tracks including Analytics & Data, IT, HR, and Marketing.

Housing is not provided. Opportunities exist across both technical and non-technical areas with exposure to community health initiatives and health equity projects.

Qualifications

• Desire to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in health, public health, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences.
• Enrolled in a full-time degree program with good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives to improve community health outcomes using data-informed insights.
• Collaborate with community health, program implementation, and evaluation teams.
• Develop educational content and assist in health equity projects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on internship projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
