Job summary

Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is offering a Summer College Internship Program in New York for undergraduate and graduate students. The 10-week paid internship runs from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, with up to 40 hours per week.

Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored, and participate in development workshops focused on core business concepts. Interns may work in either technical or non-technical tracks across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team to enhance programs for Commercial Customers, including groups, brokers and members.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Perform a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks across a broad range of projects.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy per policy.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.
