Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduates and graduates. Interns work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, and attend development workshops across diverse tracks, including business, IT, analytics, and more.

The program runs from June to August, up to 40 hours per week, with housing not provided. Interns gain exposure to health equity and community health initiatives while contributing to strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate program with good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and desktop computing.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives to improve community health outcomes using data-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with community health, program implementation and evaluation teams.
• Develop presentations and deliver findings at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company values and policies.
• Attend development workshops and engage in assigned projects.
