Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students, with development workshops, networking opportunities, and meaningful projects mentored by your manager. Interns can explore tracks across business, IT, analytics, and other non-technical or technical degree programs.

Interns work up to 40 hours per week from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, benefiting from mentorship and exposure to real-world business

Qualifications

• Public Health, Health Education or related programs required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interact with diverse audiences.
• Enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate program; good academic standing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; exposure to health education is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team to enhance programs for commercial customers.
• Work with a mentor and support strategic projects.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship end.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy policies.
