Job summary

ICON International in Stamford, CT is seeking a Paid Social Media Buyer to manage client media investments across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat and more. The role focuses on execution, with a strong foundation in media buying, reporting, and analytics in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the Manager, Paid Social and requires 2–4 years of experience, strong organization, and the ability to work with clients.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of paid social media experience in an agency or client-side role.
• Excellent organizational and multi-project management skills.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to analyze social metrics and optimize performance.
• Solid understanding of platform algorithms and ad products.
• Analytical mindset focused on performance and results.
• Proficient in Excel; comfortable with AI tools.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

ICON International is hiring a Paid Social Media Buyer to buy and manage client media investments across major social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat and others. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in media buying, reporting, and analytics, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is detail oriented. This is an executional role within ICON's Ad Platforms team, reporting to the Manager, Paid Social.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage full funnel campaigns across the various social platforms
• Optimize campaigns against performance goals and KPIs
• Analyze campaign data to assist in developing strategy to scale spend while improving performance
• Partner cross-functionally with strategy, planning, measurement, and Ad Ops) to align on campaign goals and unique account needs
• Join client meetings to represent ICON's social capabilities and value
• Monitor key metrics and adjust strategy in real time as needed
• Compile and analyze performance data, identify trends, and proactively bring recommendations to both clients and internal teams
• Stay ahead of the latest platform updates, trends, and best practices in social media

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in paid social media, agency or client-side
• Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and reprioritize as needs shift
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging both internally and with external clients
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and recommend optimizations that drive performance
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms, optimization levers, and ad products
• Analytical mindset with a focus on media performance and results
• Intermediate Excel and AI tool proficiency
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
