Butler Tech is seeking a Paid Senior Support Desk Technician Intern to lead a student-run desk within the IT department. The intern will document processes, review tickets, and coordinate with staff from September to April, while earning $15 per hour for 8–20 hours per week.
Qualifications include being a current Fairfield Township Campus student in IT/Engineering/Digital-Emerging Media/Business, plus at least one year of prior desk internship experience and strong communication skills.

The Senior Support Desk Technician must have previous experience working on the student-run support desk. The Senior Technician is expected to provide leadership and direction for the desk as a whole, including:
The Student Support Desk is designed to be a student-run, student-managed function with minimal oversight from Butler Tech staff. The desk is expected to operate as part of the Butler Tech IT department, however, with full access to the rest of the staff and fully utilizing the same tools as the rest of the department.
Students will be provided with Butler Tech shirts and a set of computer tools which they will be allowed to keep upon completion of their internship.
Interns are expected to work between 8 and 20 hours a week. A schedule will be worked out at the start of the internship between the student, the counseling office and IT staff.
Internships run from September to April.
