Butler Tech Fairfield Twp, D Russell Lee Building – Hamilton, Ohio, is seeking a Paid Field Technician Intern to join the IT department. The intern will provide frontline tier 1 and 2 support for staff, troubleshoot hardware and software, and assist in user guidance.

This role emphasizes student leadership across campus, working 8–20 hours per week from September to April, with a schedule coordinated by counseling and IT staff.

Qualifications

• Previous Support Desk Intern experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking relevant to the position.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to provide customer service, document progress, organize, prioritize, problem-solve, think critically, and exercise professional judgement.
• Satisfactory attendance and discipline record.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline tier 1 and 2 IT support for Butler Tech staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Answer technical questions and provide user advice.
