Job summary

Target is seeking a Stores Executive Intern in Fullerton to gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader (Assistant Store Manager) role. You will lead teams, learn daily priorities, and participate in mentorship programs while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

This paid internship offers hands-on leadership development across store operations, guest experience, merchandising, and performance reviews, with a focus on building future store leadership

Qualifications

• Paid 40 hr/week store management internship.
• Hands-on training to develop and prepare you for the Stores Executive Leader role (Assistant Store Manager).
• Work with mentors to lead store priorities and guest service.
• Gain exposure to multiple areas of the store’s business and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the salesfloor and backroom, leading team members on daily priorities.
• Work with the ETL mentor and other leaders to understand their roles.
• Lead daily priorities (stocking, safe welcoming environment, displays).
• Coach and provide feedback to team members, addressing concerns.
• Lead/present at daily huddles with leadership peers.
• Plan daily goals and organize plans within the building.
• Provide summaries of results and priorities to the leadership team.
• Help set goals and expectations with store leaders and drive guest experience.
