Geisinger is offering a Medical Assistant (MA) to CMA Pathway training program in the United States. Paid trainees learn CMA duties in adult and pediatric outpatient settings through didactic and clinical rotations, gaining skills for patient care, documentation, and procedures.

Participants will train to perform vitals, assist with exams, and support the care team within a clinical environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and full benefits after day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No CMA certification required for trainees.

Responsibilities

• Train to take vital signs, weights and assist patient with examination.
• Train to administer medications per scope of practice.
• Assist provider in minor procedures and prepare exam rooms.
• Document patient information in the EMR rooming tool.
