Job description

As Elevated Beauty Group’s Paid Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for driving growth through data-driven online marketing strategies that focus on measurable outcomes such as customer acquisition, lead generation and revenue growth. You will be pivotal in crafting and executing sophisticated paid digital strategies across Google, Meta and Programmatic channels to grow and maximize the return on investment (ROI) for advertising efforts across the Elevated Beauty Group portfolio. This role demands an individual with substantial expertise in digital marketing and campaign strategy, preferably within the hair and beauty industry and/ or consumer packaged goods.

Hours: 9am-6pm ET (Full Remote)

Directly Reports to: VP of Marketing, Simply Organic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our VP of Marketing and Brand Presidents to define campaign goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), target audiences, and creative requirements for campaign success.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media plans and advertising strategies tailored to brand objectives.
  • Create, deploy, manage, and optimize campaigns across search, display, social, and other digital platforms, ensuring above-benchmark performance.
  • Conduct thorough campaign research and preparation, including keyword research, audience segmentation, and UTM parameter creation.
  • Leverage paid channels like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic advertising.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
  • Provide ongoing performance updates and insights to all stakeholders, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on campaign progress and goals.
  • Utilize project management tools to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.

Optimization & Testing

  • Conduct A/B testing to refine creative content, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
  • Continuously improve ad performance through data-driven decisions.

Budget Management

  • Allocate and manage advertising budgets effectively across channels.
  • Ensure campaigns are cost-efficient and meet or exceed targets.
  • Work with creative teams to produce engaging ad content.
  • Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.

Staying Updated

  • Stay current on industry trends, algorithm updates, and new tools or platforms.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proficiency in digital ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Suite).
  • 2+ years of experience managing digital and/or traditional paid media campaigns, including search, display, and social platforms.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in digital marketing.
  • Confident experience working directly within Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms, and the ability to set up ads from scratch.
  • Solid comprehension of diverse digital marketing channels, including web design, content marketing, social media, SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation systems.
  • Strong analytical prowess, coupled with a data-centric approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated history of budget management and the delivery of outcomes within budget constraints.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the capability to articulate intricate concepts to internal stakeholders with confidence.
  • Team player with a collaborative, can-do, and yet humble mindset that is results-driven.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in AI and digital marketing and related usage models.
