Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is offering a 10–12 week paid internship in landscape maintenance in Athens, GA. The program provides hands-on field training, job shadowing, dedicated mentorship, and leadership development to prepare students for a career in the commercial landscape industry.

Interns will rotate through field and office operations, gain exposure to multiple departments, and have opportunities to participate in final presentations and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused mindset with willingness to support diverse operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations and branch operations.
• Job shadowing with teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship with regular feedback and professional development.
• Management and leadership development exposure to team-building, etiquette, communication, and leadership best practices.
• Collaborative team environment with meaningful projects and peer intern collaboration.
