Qualifications

• Currently pursuing—or recently completed—education or training in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, networking, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of computers, operating systems, common business software, and basic networking concepts.
• Genuine interest in troubleshooting technology and learning how systems work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A customer-focused attitude and patience when assisting users with different levels of technical knowledge.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage priorities, and ask questions when additional guidance is needed.
• Dependability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional local client-site work, if required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic client requests received by phone, email, or our help-desk ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot common computer, printer, software, email, password, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with setting up computers, monitors, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.
• Install and configure approved software and hardware.
• Help create and manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Use remote-support and monitoring tools to assist users.
• Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate technician.
• Document troubleshooting steps, client communication, and resolutions accurately in service tickets.
• Assist with equipment inventory, technology deployments, and other internal IT projects.
• Follow established security procedures and protect confidential client information.
• Provide friendly, patient, and professional service during every interaction.
