Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Paid Maintenance Intern to support Butler Tech’s facilities with hands-on maintenance tasks under experienced staff. You will assist with repairs and daily operations across campus facilities.

This internship is up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule based on student availability. Senior in the Fairfield Township Campus Construction program and OSHA 10 desired; training can be completed within a month if needed.

Qualifications

• Senior in the Fairfield Township Campus Construction program.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 1 month.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc), facilities maintenance, and hand tools relevant to the position.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide customer service, document progress, organize, prioritize, problem-solve, think critically, and exercise professional judgement.
• Satisfactory attendance and discipline record.
