J.H. Rudolph & Co., Inc., a CRH Company, invites motivated students to join as a heavy construction management intern. You’ll gain hands-on experience across project management, bidding, and on-site activities, working with estimators, managers, and crews.

The internship emphasizes learning safety, quality, and cost controls while exposing you to asphalt plant operations, lab testing, and aggregate logistics. Enrollment in Construction Management or Operations Management is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year degree program in Construction Management or Operations Management with one or more years of college completed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn bidding, cost control, and project-management basics.

Responsabilités

• Learn how to bid and build heavy construction projects.
• Assist in setting up contracts and subcontracts; collaborate with estimators and project managers.
• Work with asphalt plant operators, yard crew, and lab testing teams.
• Support construction crews and foremen to prepare and execute jobs.
• Understand job costs, monthly projections, and basic P&L concepts.
• Gain exposure to aggregate materials, logistics, and site safety protocols.
