Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving, a CRH company, seeks a Construction Management Intern to gain exposure to multiple facets of heavy construction management. You will engage in project management on public and private jobs, assist with bidding, and support estimators, managers, and field crews.

The role covers asphalt plant operations, equipment basics, and coordination with operations and accounting on monthly projections, offering hands-on experience in a vertically integrated construction

Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management or Operations Management from a college or technical school.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Project management for public and private projects, including bidding and contract setup.
• Asphalt plant operations, plant maintenance, and scale operation.
• Work with project managers, estimators, and construction crew foremen.
• Understand job cost, review workload and basic P&L concepts.
• Support operations and accounting on monthly projections.
