J.H. Rudolph & Co., Inc., a CRH Company, in Southern Indiana offers a paid internship program that exposes you to construction management across multiple disciplines, from project setup to field operations.

You will work with estimators, project managers, and crews, learn bid processes, asphalt plant operations, lab testing, and understand job cost and safety practices. Enrolled in a four-year Construction or Operations Management program with at least one year of coursework; computer skills

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year degree program in Construction Management or Operations Management with one or more years of college completed.
• Must have computer skills either through experience or classes.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to find, bid, and build heavy construction projects.
• Assist in setting up contracts and subcontracts.
• Work with estimators, project managers, and construction crew foremen.
• Spend time with plant operators and learn asphalt plant operations.
• Assist in testings in Hot Mix Asphalt Lab.
