Markey's, a live event production company, seeks a Human Resources Intern to assist with recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations. You will help manage postings, ATS records, candidate screening, and onboarding logistics during the January–June 2027 period.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, or other business software is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Post job openings internally and externally, and track internal employee applications.
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assist hiring managers with scheduling interviews and moving candidates through the hiring process.
• Learn recruiting techniques and utilize resources such as Indeed to identify potential candidates.
• Track incoming PI assessments and update candidate records within the ATS.
• Extend approved Part-Time as Needed (PRN) employment offers and communicate next steps to selected candidates.
• Conduct pre-employment background checks as needed.
• Support onboarding activities, including coordinating welcome bag materials and employee uniform logistics.
• Help with additional HR-related projects and initiatives.
