Job summary

Canduct Industries is seeking a motivated student intern to assist with day-to-day HR administration and gain exposure to a range of HR functions. You will support keeping employee records, assist with ADP Workforce Now data entry, and help organize onboarding materials.

The role also covers training records, HR reporting, interview coordination, and benefits administration, with project work on onboarding improvements and HR policy resources.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university
• Interest in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Dependable and able to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR administration and maintain employee records
• Support data entry and updates in ADP Workforce Now
• Help audit employee information for accuracy and completeness
• Help maintain HR reports and spreadsheets
• Assist with posting and maintaining job advertisements
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates
• Organize pre-employment paperwork and onboarding materials
• Assist with new-hire onboarding through ADP
• Help maintain recruiting and onboarding records
• Help maintain employee training records
• Assist with tracking required training and certifications
• Help organize training materials and employee development resources
• Support projects to build standardized training programs for different positions
• Assist with employee communications and HR projects
• Help organize HR events and employee engagement activities
• Assist with benefits and open enrollment administration
• Research HR topics and help develop policies, procedures, and resources
• Support special projects based on the needs of the HR department
